The purpose of or blog is to share our experiences with whomever may be drawn to discover the sweetness and beauty and deep intimacy of Jesus.  It is to help anyone discover the freedom and thrill, the joy and peace, the fulfillment and awakening that comes from connecting with Jesus.  It is the same reason we are going to Thailand, and now the exclusive reason for which we live.

The Nutshell version

In 2011, with apprehension, we began a journey with God.  We left the common, the known, the secure, the reasonable and what seemed to be common sense.  We began a Journey of Faith–a journey of following His leading to know more of His love for us.  At that time we had two children.  It has been a most challenging experience–life has not turned out as we expected it–God has made it better!

In July, 2021, we went to FaithCamp with no idea of what it was.  While there we heard God’s clear call to go to the mission field.  This was so unexpected for us but we were not surprised by God.  It made so much sense–how did we not notice this need and call earlier?

We were living in Medford, OR, when by the beautiful grace of God alone, we left the “American dream”for a bigger and much more promising dream of serving the Sovereign Jesus, our dear Redeemer, on March 28, 2023, we left nearly everything, moved to Thailand, and are  seeking God’s will in serving and loving the Thai people.
